Industry Visit at Infosys, Pune 2022-2023
Training and Placement cell of IMRD has organized an Industrial visit at Infosys, Pune on 28th January 2023 for BBA 3rd year students. Total 30 students participated in this event. The objective of this visit was to make the students aware about the IT industry. Students should get knowledge about work culture of IT industry, Infrastructure and campus facilities provided by company. From last 7 years the team of Infosys conducted 15 days skill development program for all UG students at IMRD and hence this visit is also a part of student connect program. This industrial visit organized in association with Infosys. Mr. Joseph Monis, Senior Member – Learning & Development Diversity and CSR Office and his team invited our institute for the industrial visit.During this visit the HR team conducted a two hour session for all the students on various aspects regarding career related issues of the students.While giving a speech Mr. Joseph and Ms.Smitha Thomas praised IMRD with a special note on the honest working of the director and the staff members. All the students and faculty members visited different location ofInfosys like employee working area, Health Centres, Food Courts etc. The overall infrastructure was just exceptionally beautiful. All the students enjoyed this outing and industrial visit. This was really nice opportunity given by Infosys to IMRD students to visit the largest Multinational IT Company. In the evening of the 28th we went to the Shree DnyanehswarSanjivni Samadhi Mandir at Alnadi. We have taken Halt in the Alandi. On 29th January 2023, the trip went to the Wet N Joy Lonavala, Pune. Wet N Joy amusement park was very nice,all the rides were really amazing. The staff at Wet N Joy was well trained for treating visitors and guiding on every ride. The 5 D show was shown to students in which the whole story of Aladdin has been covered in 10 minutes with too much adventure. All the students enjoyed the entire rides and had fun for the whole day. The whole event was managed by HOD of UG Mr. Tushar Patel, Training and Placement officer Mrs. Archana Jade, Assistant Training and Placement officer Mrs.SapanaYeshi, Assistant professor Dinesh Borase and Assistant professor KedarApte.
