The NSS Unit of RCPET’s Institute of Management Research and Development, Shirpur had organized a talk on the topic „Shivswarajya‟ on June 06, 2022, to celebrate Shivswarajya Din. Shivswarajya Din on June 6, 1674, marks the coronation day of the great Maratha warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj when the king was crowned as the Chhatrapati of the Maratha Kingdom. This historic day is being celebrated all over the Maharashtra. The motive of the programme was to understand Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as a great king and leader and to pay tribute to his great works. The programme began with offering garland to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj photo and Dr.Vaishali B. Patil, Director of Institute hoisted the Saffron flag and erected the Swarajya Gudi at the Institute premises to honor the coronation day of the great Maratha warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj followed by Maharashtra Geet by NSS Volunteers. The talk was delivered by Mr. Vijay R. Garge, Assistant Professor of Institute; he talked about significance of the day, importance to celebrate Shivswaraya Din. Followed by Powada on the bravery of Shivaji Maharaj by NSS Volunteer Mr. Patil Jayesh, Miss Nivedita Pawar NSS Volunteer gave information about Raigad Fort and Abhivachan by Miss Himani Patil NSS Volunteer. Thereafter Director of Institute Dr.Vaishali B. Patil addressed the audience and delivered guidance to the Youth to follow ethics of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Program concluded with National Anthem.
Mr. Manoj B. Patil, NSS Program Officer, Mr. Vijay R. Garge and NSS Volunteers worked for the successful organization of the programme. It was organized under the guidance of Dr.Vaishali B. Patil, Director of Institute.
