15th to 20th July UG Department carried out #Weeklong Induction activities for first year
Students of BCA, BBA, BMS & I-MCA. As a concluding ceremony one day event was organized in S.M. Patel Auditorium Hall on 21st Aug 2019. This #Induction function institute invited two eminent guests- Mr. Akshay Agrawal-IAS officer and Mr. Sandeepsingh Rajpal- BBA alumnus and currently owner Sher-E-Punjab at Shahada. During this function Mr. Akshay Agrawal guided students on the current marketing & economic conditions of the world & India. He motivated students to be aware about the ill effects of social media. He also told students to be self-dependent & see dreams.
Mr. Sandeepsingh talked about his journey from #IMRD to Sydney, Australia. What problems he faced? How these problems shaped him to become successful in life. He motivated students by stating importance of hard work in life. He also talked about the humanity & kindness aspects while living in the world. After Guest’s speeches Director of IMRD Dr. Vaishali Patil presented her views about the IMRD’s efforts for students & various events conducted by institute. She insisted students to be participative in various events & also praised the current efforts put by the entire Induction team. Students were benefited by the session on Career Prospects by TPO Mrs. Archana Jade. Various companies & grooming techniques were discussed during the session. Academic toppers from all FY & SY were felicitated by giving their grade & ranking details separately. All the volunteers who put their efforts were awarded with a certificate & words of appreciation.
The most awaited function ended with feedbacks from all first year students who thanked the institute for conducting these innovative activities on their arrival in institute. Students were
very happy for the overall Induction events.
